J'adore ce restaurant. Les serveurs sont très gentils et disponibles. Pas beaucoup d'attente et on y mange très bien pour un prix très correct. Nous avons même eu le droit à une petite salade offerte avec notre pizza.

First of all, we had the last outdoor table for two just 50 meters away from the Maison Carré. Instead of choosing a fixed price menu (which wasn't very enticing) we chose to get a pizza and a pasta carbonara. The pizza was of the artisinal, Italian type with a thin, crispy and homemade crust. Nothing fancy, just artichoke and mozzarella. Made for one full, delicious meal. The pasta was thick and homemade, served in a thick and creamy carbonara sauce and plentiful lardons, almost enough for two full lunches (and topped with one raw egg yoke, served in its shell for the squeamish). A decent wine selection and friendly service make this restaurant a must for the budget traveler.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Repas copieux , bon, complet ( entrée plat dessert ) , de qualité. Apéritifs , bouteille de vin rouge du coin ,digestifs ainsi que les 3 plats pour 2 personnes 55e.

My wife and I visited Nîmes for a few hours, and happened upon this pizzeria while looking for something else. We did not regret our decision to stay, and recommend this to all looking for an inexpensive, no-frills but delicious lunch.
