The staff that knows English do wear a button with the British flag on it. A nice touch to help you avoid any confusion.

Impressive collection. Beautiful museum. A must-see in Paris! It probably my 2nd favorite museum in France.

I would recommend it only if you're into history or ancient art.

The one downside is that the Australian exhibition does not contain and traditional art, and is very small. The art it does contain is modern (~1996)

Very nice garden you need to go through before you can enter the museum. The museum is laid out very well, the space just leads you through all the art without you ever need to think about it.

Awesome place! Felt like I stepped into the woods when I arrived, beautiful trees and bamboo. Beautiful journey on the inside, winding your way through different cultures and worlds. Quite interesting. Lovely quiet reading room. Cafe a bit expensive... Didn't go.

A really well-planned and presented museum, with an enormous diversity of objects on show. There is an especially strong Pacific section, but the other areas are well done too. Toilets are quite far from the exhibits, but are clean and well maintained. The bookshop is excellent, although if you are bilingual, you'll notice with some disappointment that a lot of the books are translated from English.

A very inclusive exhibition of the world's relics with nice indicators. Interactive facilities are well maintained which is rare for most of the museums. Good place for kids as well.

Amazing museum of indigenous art near the Eiffel Tower. Covers all areas of the world outside of Europe. Take the inclining paths to the top of the museum and then exhibits are by area as you descend without even knowing it. Quality if the artifacts amazing. Wasn't sure I would enjoy, but really did. Thurs. nights the museum is open late so I rarely encountered no more than 2 other visitors in an area at any time.

Impressive collection, modern building quite well organized. Temporary exhibitions are usually very good. Buy your ticket online for convenience, quite cheap.

Eclectic collection from ancient civilisations from Asia, Africa, the Americas. Interesting items with wood, bamboo, religious ceremonies, ancestor ceremonies, and some really wacky stuff - wooden purging spoons, skulls etc. Great collection although I do sense a little bad joo-joo there.
The outdoors space is incredible - lovely gardens especially at night and a view of the Eiffel tower. Highly recommended. Audio guides in multiple languages and not too expensive entry fee. Also opens till late.

Just wow. Must see. Africa, Asia, Oceania. Americas. Everything but Europe, origins of cultures, very cool. I particularly enjoyed the Pacific and Melanesian exhibits. You should follow the recommended tours or the numbered paths through each culture. Some good thought has gone into.

Very interesting design to the museum and it’s easy to get lost exploring the different exhibitions. It is designed in sections that seperate the different areas in the world.

Very informative for all ages. Children can join special groups to learn in an interactive way.

If you like the primitive art this is right museum for you, the exposition is not too big so you can explore it in around a couple of hours. There is a nice store to buy books and primitive stayle goods. You can find also a good coffee restaurant and a beautiful gardens. The tickets to get access to the exposition are around 10 euros, the rest of the museum's areas are free access.

There was sooo much in the museum. Its totally worth the 12 euro. We saw some of the permanent exhibitions and The Color Line and all of it was amazing. We spent about 3.5 hours there and still didnt see everything. Definitely add this to your list.

Also if you're under 26 and are European, the entrance for part of the exhibition is completely free of charge.

A wonderful collection that makes you travel in space and time. If you take the time to understand what's behind many pieces, you can easily spend 4-5 hours in discovery. Only negative point: most descriptions are only in French.
