The Reserve in St. Maxime was recommended to us by an elderly couple who have been coming to this restaurant for 35 years. So we did go there and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is a cosy and stylish place with great wine and deicious food. The staff is very friendly and attentive and always happy to help. It is wise, however, to make a reservation one day in advance, otherwise it will be hard to get a table since it is very popular with tourists as well as locals.

We had a Bouillabaisse there last night with four people, which is always an amazing experience. It satisfies your seafood craving and makes you a better person.
They come with a plate of seafood and filet everything before ladling a generous scoop of broth on top. Served with garlic-cheese breads.
