This is the place to go at sundown, with a bottle of chilled white wine, a baguette and some smelly cheese. Sit on the edge of the park and watch the boats go by. Lots of other people will have the same idea, unfortunately, so get there a bit early and bag your spot.

A nice romantic spot close to the Seine river. Perfect for enjoying Paris sunsets. Only drawback is that you cannot see the Eiffel tower because of the low position close to the water.

A little gem. Usually missed by the masses so quiet little spot too picnic or relax. On Pont Neuf you will see all the love locks you will also see a sign for a boat trip. Walk down the steps and you have just found a spot away from the tourists

I don't think there's anywhere in the world I'd rather be than Square du Vert-Galant on a balmy summer evening. BYO wine, cheese and meat, and be serenaded by gifted saxophonists and guitarists whilst you wave to excited tourists on the boats that speed past.
