Terminal 1 is one of the WORST terminals I have been to in the entire realm of first world countries. When you disembark the aircraft you will be guided into a narrow hallway the circles the exterior of the terminal. This narrow hallway is designed so poorly that we had to wait on the jet bridge for 20 minutes then another 20 minutes in the narrow hallway. Only 2 agents were there to check passports as you disembarked. All this time on the jetbridge and hallway with NO air conditioning and it was 100 degrees (37 degrees C). Then there was Immigration which took another 30-40 minutes. Then baggage was not ready until another 30-40 minutes. Total time spent from disembarking the airplane until we received our luggage was 2 and 1/2 hours. This terminal is a disgrace to all terminals I have visited and I am a World Traveler. If you have a choice stay clear of this terminal. Also there are no resturants after you go past immigration while departing. The is the first international terminal I have been in that did not have a resturant to eat once you get past Security and immigration. If you did not eat a meal before arriving you will not be able to eat there. Only snacks and chips.

Good terminal. Less crowded or not really crowd. My favorite terminal

Up there with the rudest ground staff in the world. A maze of total confusion, awful airport

Just arrive 3 hours before your flight.

Design wise it is a really nice terminal.

An absolute embarrassment to the city of Paris. Rude, unhelpful staff, limited food/drink with extortionate prices, an ordeal to change between terminals and a fondness for losing baggage

Waited about an hour to get through passport control to catch my flight. ORLY passport control isn't as bad as CDG Terminal 1. I wonder why that is?
