There is a shopping centre here and a lot of place to go eat. The staff are nice and friendly around the area and do normally speak English to some extent.

Absolute skiing paradise. Highly recommended. Best equipped ski location I've ever been. I'll be going back next year.
Probably one of the better places to go around the area if you want a more high Street experience. With Val Claret also offering some good restaurant options that are a bit more expensive.

One of the best weeks of my life skiing here. Amazing skiing, restaurants and bars. Don't look any further for a brilliant week on the slopes!

Great place with good connections to other parts of the ski slopes. The prices are also a lot more reasonable for food and other things compared to Val claret higher up the mountain.

Love Tignes as a ski resort. The Tignes and Val D’Isere combo is a “ski marriage” made in heaven. More than enough here to keep one smiling from ear to ear for a while

If you are going here then you probably already know it's reputation. From my personal perspective I went early season and the slopes were a bit icy but the day I left they had a metre of snow, typical! Great ski runs, very good coverage with snow cannons too so runs tend to be open. good for mixed level groups as well as plenty of reds and blacks alongside the blues. I will say the resort restaurants are a tad pricier than elsewhere we've been in France but all in all a great place for a ski holiday.
