The dead ponds inside the site has made it like mosquito land!
Not one or two, millions of them!! left in 10 mins...

Nice place - quiet and well located. Bungalows are comfortable and offer All you can expect from such an accommodation. Several small lakes are present, it's nice to feel like being in the country side so close to Bordeaux. Great stay.

Finally, watch out for the 'giant rats' and ducks quacking 24 7! NO JOKE! Surely better places available towards the coast?

Lovely lovely site. Reception very helpful very good english. Very easy bike ride into bordeaux. Bus stop right outside campsite. Lovely restaurant on site too plus small shop open 24/7!!!

Administrative process was easy, friendly and possible in multiple languages. Hot showers, swimming pool and electricity are for free (or included ;)). Public transport and bikes are easy to use to get to Bordeaux down-town. Enough available places for our tent in September. Not cosy but shade is available. Restrooms are very clean.

Overall a disappointing experience for a beautiful area of France.

Stayed 3 nights with cold showers on 2 mornings. Campsite is cramped for pitching tents and overly priced for the services provided. Also, when we went to report our concerns, a staff member at reception told me they couldn't speak english but then proceeded to converse with the next customer through English once my back was turned.

Visiting for 4 nights, camping in our own tent - quality of pitches variable, we had a good sized plot but the electrical hookup was damaged; good clean shower and toilet facilities serviced frequently, great pool, football/ basketball pitch, table tennis, beach volleyball area and inflatables/ bouncy castles for the under 13s - should keep all of the kids entertained! Reasonably priced shop & restaurant, slightly pricy burger van, with 3 market stalls (jewellery, clothing and fruit & veg) that come on site a couple of times a week. Happy holidays!

Lovely restaurant on site, would be nice to have a second, cheaper, more menu options restaurant too.

More than one sink to wash hands in the toilet area.

So close to town, great pool, cool catering van, great facilities, big sites, great transport links, close to lake, couldn't ask for anything more!

Great location. Good location for visiting Bordeaux. Nice link with the bus, which reception were able to give lots of information about, although sad it doesn't run all day.
Nice warm bread in the morning.
Nice environment with the areas of water on the site.
Information sheet out of date with the bus details and restaurant details.

Would not return. Staff very rude, refused us pitches when there was more than enough free (friends where already there and checked for us) then tried charging us 35€ per couple when they were trying to squeeze all of us on one pitch (when it's 35€ per pitch no matter the amount of people). Once space was finally found, in the car park, an agreed price of 20€ per couple was set by the manager only for staff to try and charge more when we went to pay and accused us of be in liars. Toilet facilities where poorly maintained and the site was riddled with mange ridden cats/kittens. Bins where over flowing with litter and piles were made beside them which only attracted more diseased cats. Only redeeming quality was the restaurant on site where they served fantastic food and their staff were brilliant, shame the rest of the site wasn't as good!!
