Interesting to see the ancient caves however the only cheese making you will see is in the marketing video you watch at the beginning of the tour. I was looking forward to seeing cheese at different stages of production and ageing. You may possibly see a few cheeses in one of the rooms near the end of the tour. When you do reach the end other the tour you get to taste three cheeses. The shop sells cheese at quite infatuated prices and some expensive souvenirs are available. There is an exhibition of historical photos that are quite interesting too. The old souvenirs that are on display in a glass cabinet look far far better quality than there modern counterparts, its a shame they don't sell reproductions. In conclusion "Où est le fromage?"

Es war ein netter Besuch dort mit einer dramatischen Darstellung der Roquefort-Entstehung und Huldigungen an den Firmengründer. Gelegentlich hatte ich den Eindruck, hier wird etwas geschauspielert, aber im Großen und Ganzen ein schöner Aufenthalt in den kühlen Kellerräumen, gerade an heissen Tagen. Man kann anschließend auch im angeschlossenen Werksverkauf herrliche Käsesorten ausprobieren und kaufen!

Tops! Best cheese, best caves. Our tour guide was wonderful and it was incredible to see the chilly caves and the wheels of cheese.

We paid six euros entry and were a group of three French speakers and approx. 25 English speakers. The tour guide in perfect English 'I will give this tour exclusively in French as you have all the info on a small leaflet in English here'. Right. The tour itself was then quite boring, except if you are interest to learn the details about how they clean the board they are storing their cheese on. Finished by a tasting of cheese crumbles. Could have been a total disaster, thus two stars.
