People are super friendly and the place has very cozy areas, breakfast is good and it is great if you have it included with your stay. Nice Hostel!! Excellent location and atmosphere. I had a great time there.

The staff really were pleasant, and were excited to welcome me and give me suggestions about where to go. The location is also really supremely located and the street alone is a prime location. Both up and down the street you have bakeries, cheese/grocery/meat shops, and tons of restaurants and bars. Public transport is also so easy to get to from here. Perfect if you are going out coming from the ORY Airport, just take two public trains and it's a total of just under 4 Euro. My criticism though comes with the room. This were clean enough, but felt dated and in need of updating. The rooms lacked convenient outlet locations, and there were no lockers in the room (just small non-bag sized, you have to pay per day ones floors down from you). Would I stay here? Yes. But don't expect the best up to date quality (and bring earplugs, it's loud).

I stayed both nights I was in Paris. Good hostel, clean sleeping accommodations and much cheaper than some other more well known options. The location was good and the vendors near here were fantastic.

One star for the location which has great pubs, markets, and restaurants. The hostel itself is unpleasant. We dreaded returning to the hostel each day due to its stale hot air inside. No one wants to sweat while trying to relax at your home away from home. The other guests expressed their discontent about the hostel with us as well. We did not receive our money's worth. I would not recommend this hostel.

Also when asked if I can take a look at the room before booking, the reply was just "No."
Instead, he could've offered to see pictures online. It's okay to ask questions to know what you're paying for and how much exactly.

They respond to these reviews saying feedback helps them improve, but after reading the reviews and staying here I have learned they have made no improvements.

5 starts for the staff but 3 stars for the facilities. Very friendly people who know the area but unfortunately the PCs are so old you can't even use Facebook/gmail/couch surfing and a few more I use. Which is a shame since in 2017 you can buy a new PC terminal for €150. My phone broke so the PCs being too old to load Facebook was quite annoying.

Front desk guy got upset because a potential customer asked questions.
He cannot answer a simple question of how much is the total price. I just left. He's saying: "it's 200 something" and is getting irritated. So, I decide to just book online to know the exact price. He says: "Okay, but you cannot stay here. You cannot use our internet."
Wow. Seriously? To book at your hostel? Learn what customer service is.

Nice and cheap hostel in a very young and alive area. The staff is helpful. The rooms are basic and a little bit old. I would recommend it for short stays.

Very good ambiance, and very welcoming for visitors, so if you've made some friends during your stay, there's no problem in taking them in the lobby for a drink.

The staff is excellent, friendly, and protective of your belongings. They have a luggage room that can only be accessed with supervision by the staff. The rooms are small, the beds reasonable, the ceilings low. However, the neighborhood (historical district) is quite beautiful with many shops and cafes. Key point is the great staff.

Pretty good! The workers are nice and the hostel is clean. Great location with pretty good prices too. Only complaint would be that there aren't very many showers or baths for how many the hostel hosts.
