Free zoo! No need to pay for the entrance and you will find some nice animals in there.
It's a nice place to go to with family and kids. However, I don't remember finding any food stand nearby.

Zoo located in the biggest green area of Lille. Small but it's free! Clean and spacious. Great for kids.

Great value for money and some fantastic animals with meerkats being my favourite. Not a large zoo but made really presentable enhancing our visit getting really close to some of the animals.

How long does it take to issue tickets for a zoo? Stood in a queue of three for ten minutes. Possibly very good but if you can't get the entrance right then what chance the rest?

A very small zoo and animals seem well cared for and happy. Staff are friendly and several speak English. There is no cafe but out of the zoo there are several stalls from which to choose a snack, drink or light meal. They are about a minute away.

A lovely little free zoo, surprisingly well maintained and located by the Citadel. The Red Panda's are the star of the show though the Rhino and Zebra's are also pretty cool.

A very well kept zoo, especially considering it's free. Not very big but has a good selection of animals to see non-the-less. Pretty enjoyable for a few hours, and has a park around it where you can enjoy some picknick if you're so inclined. It also has a pretty nice area around it if you want to do some walking.

Not a bad way to spend a little time. There is now a small charge for visitors that are not from Lille.
Plenty to see, animals seemed to be kept OK.

The zoo is no longer free for everyone, but it is still worth the reasonable price of admission. See the picture for individual and group pricing. The zoo has an impressive variety of animals from around the world (love the sloth). The staff was friendly and taught visitors about the animals they were feeding. The animals are well taken care of and the zoo is very clean. A nice place to spend a couple of hours.
