one of my favourite metro stations. the stairs winds and wind their way down, seemingly endlessly until you finally get to the station.

Paris you need like some shout to kill Wöhler. What is this. You can paint pictures yourself do it.

Very helpful people. We got stuck trying to get out the entrance instead of exit after going up a million steps since the elevator was broken. And the people just let us out. Thank you so much!

Very nice subway station in the middle of montmartre.
(!) Nearly 100 steps to get out, and lift is always crowdy. Sometimes it's better to stop in another station

33 meters beneath the ground, with 90 steps to climb after you get off the train. good luck everyone.

Una fermata della Metro nel cuore di Montmartre, una delle zone più caratteristiche di Parigi. Bellissima la scala che porta verso l'esterno tutta affrescata.

We did not see an elevator sign and missed the 90 step sign. The 90 steps are a winding spiral staircase that seems to never end. After that you still have some steps at the exit. We did the Catacombs the day before and it was more stairs than coming up from there (82, I believe). Then we walked to the Sacred Heart and the Metro tickets work on the tram up.

Visto il gran numero di scalini, non fate atti eroici. L'ascensore è enorme (rispetto ai soliti) ed è indispensabile, soprattutto se avete con voi le valigie.

Wanting to visit Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre in general, we chose to alight the Metro at this station - which just happened to be the deepest in Paris. There was a sign saying "90 steps to exit" not far from a lift door. Guess what? Yep you've got it, the lift didn't work.
There wasn't much footfall traffic at Abbesses, strange that.
