The building and interior are in need to some repair and renovation.

This hotel just has 1972 written all over it. We were quite disappointed about the dated state of the rooms, bathroom and hallways. We asked for a different room because the first smelled like smoking and was so terribly dated I looked like it came straight from the set of the movie the shining. Second room was slightly better although still smelling bad, dated and not too clean either. Staff was friendly though. I'd look for an alternative when searching for a hotel in this area. Pics look nice but don't tell the whole story in my opinion.

Great hotel, we stayed for two nights both this year and two years ago. Very well maintained rooms. The standard room we booked had a safe, refrigerator, great bathroom area, comfortable bed, and little added touches like free bottles of water and an honor bar. Hotel is surrounded by lots of eating establishments.

Great hotel! We received a warm welcome and the great surprise of being upgraded. The hotel has a lot of charm, the staff is very professional and the breakfast buffet is amazing. I would definitely recommend!

Great hotel. Wonderful full French breakfast and great service overall. They even brought me some ice when I hurt my foot. It was a lovely and peaceful weekend stay in Fontainebleau.
