I stayed at L'Auberge des Orpailleurs for two nights as part of a group of 26 people. Helene and Eric were very friendly hosts and catered nicely to our needs. Some of us where sleeping in hammocks while others slept in cabins. While the hammocks had moskito nets, the bed in the rooms dont. The windows in the rooms have nets, but a lot of moskitors can enter through the door and broken elements of the window nets. All the facilities are clean and even for 26 people, the number of toilets and showers were sufficient. The food was generally very good.
The auberge is located next to a river that provides swimming opportunities. A number of canoes are available to explore the river.
