I asked to speak to a manager or customer service specialist. I told the cashier that I did not appreciate being treated so rudely, with such disrespect. She did not get a manager, nor did she apologize when I explained I was unaware that entering through that end of the store was not allowed (for the record we enter our grocery stores at any number of points in Canada).

Your little town is dependant on tourism. I would expect that tourists contribute to the economy greatly. My partner and I are actually here looking at properties to purchase. Should we indeed open a vacation property, you may rest assured that I will recommend people shop elsewhere in town.
I am a mature, educated, well travelled professional-and I do not appreciate being insulted publicly for not knowing the customs.

Magasin propre.
Ou l'on trouve aisément un peu tout ce dont nous pouvons avoir besoin.
Mais que je trouve extrêmement cher.
Avec des employés très loin d'être avenant pour pas mal (pas tous attention)

I planned to enter the store near the produce section as I only wanted some fruit and meat (my partner stayed out in the car). As I reached down to pick up a basket near the cash-one of the cashiers began to yell at me. I am from the Acadian Peninsula in NB and speak French well. With a line up of clients at her cash the cashier yelled across two lineups and told me to put the basket down, to go to the other end of the store to get a basket. I walked down towards the end of the store and was accosted by another employee telling me I was not able to enter the store at this point(a blond woman).

Bistro à recommander. Serveuses jeunes, dynamiques et souriantes, buffet correct, viande excellente, prix modeste... Je reviendrais

I am a Canadian tourist visiting your city (Charite sur Loire).
This evening we stopped at Auchan to pick up a few groceries; we have been there three different times.

The customer service at this store is horrific.

Eten was lekker, we hebben wel saus erbij gevraagd want enkel een steak en 1 aardappel was wat droog. 2 dames hebben ons bediend. De ene was vriendelijk, de andere niet.
