With this restaurant began my acquaintance with French cuisine, and this, of course, are precious familiarity confirmed within 7 years. Onion soup, Boeuf Bourguignon, creme brulee, excellent wine list. Always with courtesy, care and friendliness. Always very tasty and freshly cooked. Definitely worth a visit. Suitable for children.

Wonderful atmosphere and service, and some of the best food in Paris. We came here twice in a week as nothing else could match the quality. Duck confit was excellent, apple tart was superb. Other dishes equally perfectly cooked and presented.

Warm and welcoming local home style French restaurant. Recommended food: Soupe â l'oignon - skillful balance of salt; great able to add your own cheese and croutons. Bœuf bourguignon - tender and juicy. Crème Brûlée - right on smoothness and creaminess just perfect for the sweet tooth. Un pichet de vin rouge de Bordeaux - can't go wrong.

I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to illustrate what I love most about simple, home-style French restaurants. Small and cozy, the chef-owner (who also serves as waitstaff and maître d') infuses everything with love and passion. I am grateful for the experience. PS: the cassoulet was profound.

Great place, every time we are in Paris, we always go there at least twice.
Food is great, everything is home made, excellent wines. The lovely decor it takes you back in time but in the good sense. Small intimate setting.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Each time we are in Paris we make a point of going here. We have never been disappointed. We were fortunate enough to dine there for the third time on Sunday night. Warm goat cheese salad was delicious. Beef bourguignon, filets and poulet au provincal were all superb. Friendly and inviting atmosphere in a great location on Ile St. Louis.

We came here on a recommendation and it was a horrid experience. We made a reservation for 30 mins after they opened but when we got there they were still vacuuming and setting up. Then while we were seated they were still cleaning up the place and it was extremely awkward as we were the only ones there our entire visit. Once the food finally came (we both ordered boeuf bourguignon) it was very fatty and not very tender. Then I took a bite of what I thought was a thin crispy piece of meat. Turned out to be a pretty good size piece of cellophane. After that we were done, they apologized and offered new plates but we were through.
