The manager is typical French miserable unhelpfull.

Basic and functional. It is perfect for a good night's sleep if passing through. Hotelier and his wife are extremely helpful and welcoming.

C'est un Hôtel bien entretenu, doté d'un agréable confort. Les chambres sont propres, les douches également. Les employés sont tres sympathiques et sont a votre service pour la moindre question / inquiétude etc etc.

The upstairs area in a family room gets really hot at night, even when the A/C is set to 10° celcius.

Hotel ok but families with very small children, particularly toddlers, be very aware of the family rooms with stairs as they are lethally steep (almost a ladder). Any inquisitive toddler will make a bee-line for them and if you're unlucky like us they'll fall. Really could do with a stair gate. Luckily no lasting harm done other than a bump & scab to show for his troubles.
