One star too many. The first time we visited he had two cats knocked out on the table in his room which were in the middle of being operated on or just finished. The second visit he sold us some out of date Flea Treatment and when we went back after phoning to explain what they had done, the female assistant asked us if we were sure we bought it there…. even though his writing was plastered all over the box. We then (foolishly) take our cat to be spayed there and he ends up being downright rude in his attitude with my partner and they let us pick her up after two hours flat, we said we could wait another hour but no. After 3 days we were concerned that, apart from the cat not being able to "poo", the stitches were a bit of a mess and so with those two issues took her to a new vet. The new vet basically said that the previous vet was a butcher and that Bassalert had used stitches meant for a dog or a bigger animal on our 11 month old cat smallish cat. She spent 3 days in the new vet sometimes on a drip and had to have a laxative. 10 days after Bassalerts efforts the stitches have been taken out by the new vet and he has said she will have a massive scar on her abdomen. The scar is totally out of proportion to her size and it looks like a smashed up packet of bacon. This vet is an arrogant, conceited and impolite with customers. His surgical skills are also questionable based on his use of stitches. If I had to I would also stand up a court of law and say this because I am truly disgusted.
