Staying in Carcassone over night and waking up to have the city to ourselves was amazing, and I'd definitely recommend it. Our room was okay - double bed (mattress was pretty firm, a bit uncomfortable but certainly not the worst I've experienced), good size bathroom. We came on a reasonably hot day and they seemed to be having issues with the air-conditioning which also made the overnight stay a bit less comfortable. Staff were very friendly though, so over-all I'd recommend.

A very nice hotel in a great location. If you arrive after a certain time you are allowed to drive to the hotel within the city walls, an amazing experience. Very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice!

Unique hotel spread over several sights within the old fortruss. Service is basic but go for the location, you need nothing more.

Our room was located in a different building which is a 2 minute walk from the main hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor over looking the chateu comtal. The room was small and the AC doesn't seem to be working or the mini fridge.... good thing the night breeze was nice and cool otherwise it would have been a sauna.

Very charming hotel with cozy rooms in the heart of the medieval city of carcassone. The staff is very courteous and professional. An amazing experience overall

Tucked comfortably inside Carcassonnes double walled fortress, Les Ramparts is an ancient building adapted with state of the art facilities, serving as the dependence to the Hotel Donjon a short walk away and where an ample, tasty breakfast is enjoyed.
As private vehicle parking is not generally available within the city walls, the hotel will arrange parking and luggage transfer for their clients.

Nice and comfy. Park outside city walls on chemin des anglais and wait for lugage service to pick you up and if you opt for 20€ car park, will drive you to the hotel.
