Typical Paris hotel. Nice staff, good rate. Location is a bit questionable. You’ll need to brave to walk around the streets here - but easy to get an uber or transport link into the city.

Spent 3 nights there and enjoyed every minute.
The entire staff from the manager on down were very friendly and helpful and went out their way to make us comfortable.
The romm was small but since we only used it to sleep in it was more than adequate and very clean.

The staff were super nice. I loved how the attendant cooked the crepes for us in happy hour. The location was close to the train and other shopping areas. I felt safe and in god hands. Would highly recommend.

To all my American friends: get used to smaller spaces. It's Paris! Everything will be smaller - but give it a day or two and you'll recognize that's all part of the charm of the city of light. The staff here is very professional, and works to meet your needs. The neighborhood has some great spots to get away from typical tourism. I was here for work, and it pained me to leave. I'll be back.

Cosy room and smallest bathroom I ever seen. Frozen cheese and ham for breakfest. Very bad area of Paris, metro station close to hotel was closed and hotel didn't inform about it

Comfortable stay with excellent staff. Continental breakfast and complimentary coffee and macaroons in the early evening in the lounge. When the nearby Metro station re-opens later this year I would expect it to give the area a bit of a lift. At the moment there are a lot of street traders giving the area a bit of a dodgy look. All very calm though. We found a great Italian pizza restaurant on Rue Ramay and tried a French Brasserie and African restaurants all in the nearby streets. It is also within a (fair) walk from Garde du Nord so really handy for Eurostar as well as Monmartre. Just don't mistake it for the Mercure hotel of the same name as it's some distance away (thanks Google for the incorrect directions!!)

I booked this having read the reviews here. I had to check we were in the right place.
Upon arrival Valentine the receptionist was lovely, but after that.....
The staff were noisy, unhelpful and rude. The area is rough and this shows in the staff. It's also an area you do not want to be in at night. My advice is to avoid.

I stayed there from 5th to 8th december 2016 and my compliments to the wonderful staff that were working on this period. All of them really nice and supportive ! The room is also nice and clean (small for the american standards) but everything OK (bedding, lightining, shower, etc). Busy location but near Sacre Coeur and metro stations.

The hotel was okay, but the area is very dodgy. Full of weird people selling crap and hookers. Not sure I would go back.

Nicely maintained and at a walkable distance from the central station. Would surely recommend anyone to go here.
