The land side area isn't too bad and it is bright and airy. Prices are normal for airports- expensive ! And toilets aren't great. They need a lot more love. Wi-Fi is good and easy enough to connect. Transport links to Bordeaux are okay outside peak times, but woe betide you if you land at rush hour. The bus journey into Bordeaux took longer than the flight.

We were dropped off for departure at night the doors were all locked even though people were inside, the help line was not answering, no signs explaining why the doors are locked. We had to walk downstairs to the arrivals section where the doors were open. No employees at all inside you have to figure out everything for yourself. No security in sight, very frustrating.

Not a well organized airport. Security check is terrible. Staff is unpolite, disinterested and some of them arrogant. Even in case of big crowd they do not open more security gates. The conveyor belt at the security check is not continuous. After you put liquids, notebook etc. in the tray you have to hold it in your hands and put over to one of the conveyors leading to a security gate. Imagine to do this in crowd with 2 trays and carry-on baggage.
Try to avoid this airport.

Immigration was really fast, literally took me 30 seconds! Small cozy airport!

The Billi (aka low cost) terminal is the worst thing I have seen in airports in the world: it's ugly as hell and the only explanation I can see for it being so poorly designed is that they want you to never lose the awareness that you have a "cheap" ticket. They make you climb useless stairs just to descend them seconds after, the tray for the luggage check is super uncomfortable and the service is obviously quite mediocre and unfriendly.

the worst airport experience ever! had a fab holiday in france but will not return to this area due to the horrendous homebound journey with easy jet. packed into tiny 'shed' with no drinks, food, seats, just hours of queues. queue to check in, queue to drop luggage off, queue for passport control, queue for gate (with no info) queue to get on the plane - no info, no regard, no customer service AT ALL

No online check-in, and large pointless queues as a result. No one at the border exit control hence another pointless queue. Needs to join the 21st century. Toilets were in line with the quality you would expect at a rough working-man's club.

I used the Billi Terminal at Bordeaux airport, which is used for low cost carriers. It basically looked like a shed/warehouse with partitions to separate the toilet and you can hear the business. There were not enough seats and just a lot of long queues for security and documents check. I can't comment on the main terminal but I would recommend flying with the big airlines into/out of Bordeaux

Somewhat small airport with only a few options for shopping and eating. The prices are OK for an airport, though. Vending machines for water, soft drinks and snacks in every terminal. Bathrooms are awful and smell really bad! Be aware: beyond passport control there is no more shops (only a vending machine) and the waiting room is very stuffy. There is a special low-cost terminal (Billi) that looks like a shed and I think has no stores (again, only vending machines).

Airside services are terrible. Vending machines only after passing through passport control and the toilets were in a bad way. Having said that, staff were very friendly and there's a nice, small town feel to the airport.

I had to help a very elderly man off the plane and was spoken to rudely when I tried to get him fast tracked through to passport control. He could barely walk, but his son had told easyjet he needed a wheelchair. The people at passport control were also rude. They provided no support or help, just arrogance.

The only good point is the fact that the public bus costs the same price as any trip done in town. But of course this doesn't hide the fact there is just one line, no train and no tram.
