I have positive and negative feelings about my visit to this place. At our arrival the atmosphere was charming, with several people reading the newspaper or a book, a large breakfast menu... I wouldn't have gone there with my kids but I didn't find any alternatives and the bartenders were initially kind and flexible. The problem came when my eldest daughter felt sick and had a vomit. The woman in charge of the place changed her face, they gave us some paper to clean it by ourselves and when we could leave the place she came after me to make sure that I had left good tips, while other clients observed the spectacle. Yes, I am guilty of having children. But the good atmosphere dissapeared and part of the responsibility is yours

The woman who served me need to learn how to smile. Did not feel welcome in my slip slops, shorts and t-shirt. Maybe I fucked up their style :)

You know, each time I travel around a new place, everything is great and harmonious, BUT it is always the sh*tty waiters ruin the whole experience. And I am just so "lucky" to bump into this cafe with horrible attitude. Hey, your coffee doesn't even taste that good either! Is it "french thing"?? I miss Germany already..

cozy little cafe in the centre of Strasbourg. coffee is great, salads are delicious, the Cathedral is just 3 minutes away. what else could you ask for ? :)

As has been said here already, the attitude of the staff here needs a lot of work.

Welcoming, bright, lots of natural light which flood in from the huge windows that front out to the street. A lovely experience at a place that uses all locally sourced food and ingredients so it is always fresh. They can do the classic European breakfast or the Irish or American breakfast which means more proteins. I had the American breakfast which was two eggs, two bacon, a bread and juice. Perfect amount of fuel to stoke the engine for walking the city. 3 of 5 stars only because you have to be aggressive with the staff to pay your bill.
I don't know if there are better breakfast places in Strasbourg, but I enjoyed this place.

Awful service. Felt like we were invisible to the waiters. The first time we at least got to order. We went on Bastille day again looking for breakfast and sat there for over 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment. 2 couples came in sat after us and got their order while we sat there waiting to get a menu.
