I LOVE this place! I love it so much I have been back 3 more times. I’ve eaten at other cafes, but this place is just amazing. The breakfast fills me up enough for half a day exploring Paris, their scrambled eggs are creamy and soft, the croissants are flaky and buttery to perfection, the juice is fresh squeezed and I see the fresh fruit in the morning coming in (my hotel is right next door and I am here first thing.) The dinners are equally amazing, and the drinks are soooo good - I sit at the bar since I’m on this trip alone and I see the bartenders working hard all night middling fresh fruit and creating amazing high quality drinks for their customers. All of the waiters have been so fast and professional. Truly an awesome experience! I’m attaching some pics - I will be sad to leave Paris and equally sad to leave this incredible cafe.

Waited a long time for service. At least 15 minutes after being seated to get menus. Asked for water which never came. Different waiter arrived after about 20 minutes to take an order. The table next to us had a similar issue and got up to find service. We were informed after ordering that there was an English menu available, which would have been helpful since we told the original waiter that we did not speak French. Despite the service, food was decent and I'd recommend it to anyone who has plenty of extra time and patience to spare. Be prepared to wait. Definitely a good idea to get drinks and kick back while deciding on food.

Well I have to say when I went here with a French friend the service was 5 star.. when I went back by myself I was completely ignored! What is it with Paris’s waiters and Americans? On that visit I would give them a zero rating and I travel Europe all the time~ The only rude wait staff is in Paris!...

a classic french Bistro. i would have givven them a 4 star if not for the lousy service, or you should i just say "french classic service". the thing i loved the most is the heavy, old fashionned design. reminded me of a classic palace or prime ministers chambers from an old James Bond Movie. the food was decent. we ordered rizotto which was a little undercooked but still very heavy in butter and cream. tasty , only needed another 5 minutes on the cooktop, and the roast with potatoes was great. tender meat , tasty potatoes, rich sauce...all in all, good food but the decor is a knockout...

We had the roasted salmon, Cromesqui » de risotto au chorizo, crème de champignons and a beef bourguignon. Everything was delicious. The waiter was super nice
