Clean and very well organized. Manager was knowledgeable about recreation opportunities in the area. Easy public transportation to city center, but the buses don't run after 19:00.

Excelent camping that includea all facilitis for a great vacantion: free Wi-Fi, electricity, h showers with hot water, panckakes on Thusday night, etc....

Shower is great and the free bus/ train pass is a plus.

The best thing about the campsite is its location away from Chamonix at Les Praz which is an anonymous and overstretched climbing and walking base. Les Praz, however, manages to retain some Alpine charm. The pitches are a reasonable size though rather waterlogged in the appalling weather this year. The mobile phone charging facility is excellent as are the 2 cabins for sheltering/cooking etc though the latter may be a bit small. The staff are efficient though rather brusque at times - I was unhappy to hear a teenager being reprimanded in a very rude manner for using the showers when they were being cleaned - he is as much a client as anybody else. Both the best and worst aspects are the sanitary facilities - they are kept immaculately clean but not being allowed any shoes (even sandals) in the showers and that appalling towel they leave outside is a recipe for the sharing of verrucas and athlete's foot.

An amazing campsite right next to the mountains and close to Chamonix. You are given a free bus/train pass also that enables you to travel for free in the region. Each night food vans offered crepes, pizzas and other food if you have the money to spend. I loved my stay here and I would definitely recommend this site. Do bear in mind they do not take bookings, so try to arrive by 12:00 to get a pitch in peak season.

Great campsite with spectacular views. Showers a great and are clean. Easy access to public transportation from the camp. If you are looking for a place with all the bells and whistles then this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a great place to be in nature and the surrounding area then this is the place. Chamonix and the surrounding areas are truly amazing.

Busy camping ground. Patchy pitch bit has a good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

The helped us arrange a tour we'd had no luck organising anywhere else at the last minute and gave us a bunch of great tips. The facilities are great. The pitches are a good size, its close to chamonix and they give you a free pass for public transport, the showers are warm and there are no stupid buttons (we often judge a camping ground by the showers!). We had a fab stay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very scenic, very expensive - 47 euro per night for 4 people camping, small sites, no camp fires, must bring own seating. I am used to North American camping, but this was underwhelming.
