Well maintained site with good size pitches. Beside a large fishing lake. Easy walk into Salbris for good restaurants and bars. Supermarket close by. Very welcoming owners of the site, Christine and Thierry.

We used this site has an overnight stay from the Bay of Roses, Spain. Reception was English speaking and very friendly. We got a pitch looking over the lake.
The toilet block looked has if it had recently been modernised very clean with hot water also heated which was good for April.
The site looked very clean and the new owners looked to be installing a new swimming pool.
Wished we'd had more time to stay longer, to visit the town. We would definitely use this site again.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
It would seem from the reviews i have read that nothing has change since i reviewed this place 3 years ago. Adequate camping for short stays. Christine, on reception very pleasent and helpful but she needs to send her husband to work elsewhere or the amount of guests stopping there will decline. I used to recommend this site to friends, however i have not done so for years. A place to avoid.

Fantastic little site just south of Orleans, perfect stop off site on way to southern France. Owners very friendly, facilities good and clean. Would have liked to do a couple of days here.

Great campsite. The lady on reception spoke really good English and was very kind and helpful. It's by a lovely lake and river. Great clean warm swimming pool. And showers are hot with temperature control.

Christine is always helpful and finds us a lakeside pitch. Finally, after enduring the heat of the south we fled north and are enjoying a week long stay.

Excellent site. We only stayed a night but were on the lake surrounded by lovely walks and a close by village.

Beautiful Campsite by a lake. Friendly staff and well laid out plots separated by hedges. Open spaces by the lake are the best. Sanitation Block very clean and the showers are hot hot hot.

For dog owners, the park opposite is ideal for walking the head of the family and, as a bonus, the local vet - Dr Perin - is well acquainted with the passport requirements and is excellent with dogs.

No more can be said than all these reviews. This site and Christine & Thiery cannot be faulted. Virtually everyone, including ourselves, arrive to stay one night and stay longer. It is so peaceful and relaxing. If there is a complaint. Please Christine & Thiery, get a matw for the poor Goose. It has been on its own for at least the past 4 years. Shame.
