really nice camping.. toilets and showers are, however, many stairs up but super fresh, there are two major handicap showers with toilet on the ground floor. Many beautiful walking paths around

A fantastic and the most enjoyable campsite. Set in the most beautiful settings on the river. We stayed for 12 nights, we loved every single second of it. The pitches are big enough for most tents, we took a 6 person tent with a front extension and there was loads more room. The site has great factilites that include a small play area, small shop, spotless toilets and showers (They look recently refurbished), loverly tree canopies in most of the pitches. Direct access to the River and small beach. (This was the best bit, I didn't realise how close the river was, amazing sun sets and drinks to be had by the river) The owners Stephanie and Raphael could not have been more accommodating and friendly. They was on site the whole time and walked around the site each day ensuring everyone was happy. A very chilled and relaxed site. You can order Baguettes for delivery each morning. Lush....Would I return again? Well I've booked for 2016!!!!

Beautiful & we'll run site by a lovely couple we have been there every year since 2006,but had to miss 2016 due to medical reasons,but we will be there this year

The owners are the FRIENDLIEST people imaginable, who bent over backwards to help people who had no place to stay that night. The location right on the banks of the Loire is beautiful, perfect for fishing or boating! Bathrooms are large and clean. The only thing is that the area for bike tourists is rather small and crowded compared to the other campsites. Otherwise, it's a great base from which to explore Saumur! Be aware that the tiny town is TINY, so you should get supplies beforehand (though their bread service is the best I've yet had :-)

I think a lot of effort is being put in here. Showers great...up lots of steps! Pitch right on river. Very nice staff. Good value. No frills.

Great campsite! We stayed an extra day. Friendly people, impeccable facilities. A cycle trip to the north eastern bridge of Gennes is recommended.

Clean, friendly/helpful, beautiful location on river bank. Good additional facilities; daily bread delivery, good WiFi, fresh fruit and veg stall on a Sunday morning, recycling, nearby(walking distance) restaurant​. A happy sèjour many thanks to Raphael and Stéphanie.
