It was raining today, so I ordered an onion soup. It was fantastic and not too heavy! Free Wi-Fi for the win! Also, their deserts are amazing.

The last time I was here was in 2013 when i was on my honeymoon. It was very nice and pastries were very good. My wife loved it and i would recommend it for sure. Usually service is good, but if you try to impose english you will suffer, try speaking french.

Great patisserie selection to eat in or take away - average price around the €7 mark however they are worth it. Three seating areas; outdoor, conservatory style or indoor. Good spot for afternoon tea!

Quite high prices for simple foods/drinks. The staff is nice. Only the location is worth.

Love this typical Parisian cafe near the Eiffel Tower. A lot of old chic French vibes with good croissants and tea. Loved the Macaroons and pastries but wasn’t a fan of the cheese finger sandwiches.

The hot chocolate is literally liquid gold and the palmier's were the best we've ever had. Deeeeeelicious!
The service was good and it was just a few steps from the Trocadero stop. After taking in the Eiffel Tower in all of its grandeur, it was nice to stop at this restaurant, have a pleasant meal and wonderful hot chocolate. Their pastries are also quite nice.
The only problem I had with this place was their bathroom. It was not very private; you end up washing your hands right next to the kitchen.

Very enjoyable and delicious lunch. A great range of takeaway desserts.

Loved the food, adored their desserts. A gourmet Mont Blanc I’ve never had before, probably the crunchier yet the lighter fig tart you can ever expect savoring, a chocolate macaron Ladurée couldn’t do with an intense chocolate up to Pierre’s Marcolini knowhow and a hot chocolate way better than Angelina’s. Is it me or is it the reality; does Carette create better versions of the known desserts in Paris but isn’t as famous? I have a new Coup de Coeur, it’s called Carette.

Overall, Excellent
The egg is very soft and the croissant is spectacular and homemade. The prices are a little bit higher than surrounded cafes but it is worth it.

Great traditional bistrot food but quite expensive great for à French brunch in front of the Tour Eiffel!

I'd visit again.

Great place for lunch, a bit expensive but the salads are really good and the staff are very kind. The desserts look and taste amazing. One thing I didn't like was that they only have one toilet for men.

Classic patisserie with outdoor terrace on Trocadéro, right above exit 3 on the Metro. Good coffee, fresh pastries, salads and sandwiches. Unfortunately, the French still smoke, so the outdoor terrace loses some appeal.

I had a salmon steak and a delicious dessert during my last night in Paris at the Place Des Vosges location. I highly recommend Chez Carette.

There are many cafes around in this area that might be less expensive; however Carette is delicious, they make the most delicious and fresh macaroons, soft croissants or pan au chocolat, and hot chocolat "comme il faut" (as it should be done).
