However there is a true lack of Health & Safety signs especially as the Castle sits at an incline. Some of the more challenging climbs especially in bad weather can be a bit dangerous.

The castle is one of the go to places when in Lourdes. It gives you a glimpse of history and a very educating visit. We enjoyed our visit and were fascinated with the facts. The view from the top of the castle was lovely as you get a panoramic glimpse of Lourdes. We definitely enjoyed our visit here.

Great views, nice things to see. I don't have a head for heights but I wouldn't mind the heights here too much but I had a two year old with me so I was more nervous of the heights for him.

The Château had a well organized tour with info in many different languages. There's a little of everything in the exhibits: geology, history, Pyrenean culture, and great views of the valley!

Strategically located, and easily attainable from the civic centre, the Fort give you a perfect view over the village. Inside, a self-guided tour bring you to visit the different places of the castle, that illustrate many aspect of the life and history of the ancient village.

Not for the weak knees though--lots of stairs.

This attraction offers fantastic top view of the whole Lourdes town plus the mountains that surrounds it. There were lots of displays as well which will make you immerse in the culture that was before.

A lot more to see then it looks from the outside. You can spend a lot of time here. The panorama from the top is great. You can see the whole of Lourdes and the Pyrenees.

Apart from that a very interesting visit and some great views weather permitted.
