Dropped in with the intention of purchasing a dozen various wines from the region however the "madam" on duty that day was not at all interested. Rude, no eye contact and just plain horrible. Ended up visiting the local caves directly with excellent results.

AVOID. Feels like a tourist trap, they sell only a few different wines, most of them from their production. I suggest you to visit the caveau du gigondas, in the town center just up the road.

This place is the collective wine tasting room for the region. In general the wines from Gigondas was average (maybe slightly below) for French wine but set in a nice town. Free tastings complete with the French experience (the good and bad); couldn't tell if it's contempt for foreigners or a relative indifference to service but it didn't make us want to stay or buy any wine here.

A great experience with some of the best Rhone Valley wines selection as Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise, Vacqueyras, even Chateauneuf du Pape ... Just Awesome !

Great wines, great staff, great value. It's worth taking the time to taste and learn about the wines and the regions
