Good food, good price and good location

I started with the tuna tartare, which was simple and faultless, followed by a perfectly cooked whole bar stuffed with thyme, napped with a herb butter sauce, and accompanied by potato puree, sauteed mushrooms, and deliciously rich spiced carrot. A nicely-sized 500mL bottle of Côtes du Provence was a perfect match.

I'll definitely be going back, perhaps for lunch, so that I can explore the village of oyster farmer shacks and sample some of their produce.

A quaint restaurant with red and white checkerboard tablecloths, warm lighting, the option of indoor or outdoor dining, and bay views across the oyster leases to Arcachon.
