Nice hotel in Tours but it doesn't have the character of Chateau type of hotels in this region. Even the "Chateau" building does not have much of a character. Most of the new rooms are in new buildings and those are just like a Clarion in the U.S. Too far to old part of town to walk. It also seems to be the hotel for the river cruising people. Rooms were clean, service was excellent. Just missing the charm.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. Large, well appointed rooms. It's a little far from the centre of town but not far from the tram line.

Une bonne soirée au restaurant . le cadre est très agréable et l'accueil parfait. Les plats sont bons. La carte des vins est limitée.

We stayed at Chateau Belmont for 10 weeks while studying at CLE language school in Tours. We ate dinner there most nights. The chefs made a special effort to prepare foods we liked. The staff at this hotel are warm and friendly and very helpful. The hotel is clean and safe. There are security gates to get into the property. We were looked after very well.
The hotel is on the hill in beautiful gardens. We dined on the terrace every night. It is such a beautiful setting. We mainly worked into town and back, a 20 minute walk but also one can take a tram up the hill. It's very close to rue Colbert where most of the restaurants in Tours are located.
We would certainly stay here again if we returned to Tours. We can highly recommend Chateau Belmont.

I have to congratulate the owners of the hotel for what is one of the misleading websites I have seen. The domain shows views of a beautiful chateau, so one has the impression that the rooms are located there. In reality, they do not show the pictures of the real building located on the left side of the chateau where one stays. That is simply misleading and dishonest.

Great stay, elegant but modern. Good restaurant, really excellent breakfast. Not far from downtown. even for a walk.

Very nice Hotel in - provided you have a reasonable level of physical fitness - walking distance of the city centre of tours. I especially like the rooms, which are very well cleaned and of a modern standard. The breakfast is very good. Food at the restaurant tastes good but guests staying longer or returning frequently might quickly become bored by the menu. The bar is a bit expensive!

Lovely mix of modern facilities and quality with charming main building and staff. Traditional building with restaurant (lovely staff) and some rooms, plus modern block to the side of that with very comfortable modern rooms (our family suite included two hobs, microwave and dishwasher). The restaurant is genuinely high quality, yet family friendly (we even talked our way into letting the dog in with us)
