A fantastic house overlooking Grasse and only 10-minute walk to the main Street. Host was lovely and fluent in English and Spanish (& presumably French). Originally owned by the Rothschild family, most of the gardens date back to their time. Only a Bed & Breakfast because too much French bureaucracy if they provided food.
Small swimming pool down the (steep) garden. Only downside I can think of is the gardens might be dangerous for toddlers. Oh, and it's quite hard to find - your SatNav might take you there, but you won't believe it's a guesthouse - looks tiny from the road.

Maggie and I absolutely loved our recent stay here. Charming, quiet location with gorgeous gardens. The owners are delightful, multilingual, and can be relied upon to guide you towards whatever destinations in the south of France that you desire.
Better than a four star hotel at a fraction of the cost. The breakfast room with a view all the way to the sea was as pretty as a picture, as was the breakfast itself.
Perfectly situated in a central location for a visit to this part of France. Not to be missed.
