Beautiful hotel with ample parking in close proximity to the attractions in Bayeux, as well as a good spot to get to the D-Day beaches. The room was gorgeous, huge, bathroom was gigantic. The grounds were beautiful. But we had some trouble booking through HotelTonight here, and it does not seem like we were the first to experience those problems. Basically, we prepaid, but were told when we got there and rushed up to our room that we would pay tomorrow. We explained, but had trouble convincing them we'd already paid full price for the room. It took HotelTonight staff to resolve it. It was a shame because, like I said, everything else about the place was great. It just started things on a sour note, and we opted not to do breakfast because once we resolved the payment issue we didn't want to complicate matters by getting billed for something else.

We loved our stay at Domaine de Bayeux. We also love Bayeux; it is a wonderful little town to stroll through. We plan to return to Bayeux, and will definitely return to Domaine de Bayeux when we do.

We loved Domaine de Bayeux! The location is a centuries-old mansion that is set up as more of a B&B than a hotel (although the breakfast does not come with the room). The mansion and the property are just lovely -- and the hosts are even lovelier. :-) They're not only happy to answer questions and provide tourist advice, they will go out of their way to try to find answers for even the most obscure questions.

Ce qui m'a plus le service, les personnes sympa. Et serviables

The room we had was comfortable, spacious, and very nicely appointed. My wife and I were traveling with our 13yo son, and all of us had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable -- in fact, we ended up sleeping in late because we didn't want to get out of bed. (The 13yo didn't want to get out of his bed, either.) The bathroom was nearly the size of a small hotel room, itself -- even had its own entrance(!) -- and was well stocked with towels and toiletries.

Charming hotel in a great location! We had a delightful 2-day stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great and our hosts were charming. It is within easy walking distance to the train station, the Bayeux tapestry, Bayeux cathedral and many nice restaurants.
