The environment near the camp-site looks good. Not as good as some of the other places I've visited in the France, but it’s very nice anyway. There is a river which, when the sluices are opened, is a nice view and great fun to pass in a raft. There's also a small lake near which is nice for the kids.

Amazingly hot, with beautiful crystal clear river, and great adrenaline sports!! Only bad thing is the shop, which ripped me off quite a lot of change. Evening entertainment pretty good, and swimming pools also nice.

From 23:00 the campsite is completely quiet except for the campfire, which is located far enough from the nearest tents to avoid nuisance. The security is very strict too, and also speaking slightly too load at the own tent can attract their attention.

I have visited a lot of other campsites and from my experience I give this an over-all of a 9.0.

Great campsite for children lots to do and the river is great like a natural lazy river until they open the dam. Castellane is a short 20 min walk on a quiet side road lots of good restaurants and the markets well worth a visit for local produce.

After an easy drive from Holland to Domaine Du Verdon we had an pleasant arrival at the campsite. The personnel is polite and speaks various languages, one of the ladies at the reception speaking Dutch too.

For teenagers this campsite is a lot of fun too. Every evening there's a planned event, such like Just Dance, Karaoke and Foam Parties. These events last from 21:00 until 23:00, and from that moment a campfire starts near the river, lasting until 3 am.
