Similar issues to others. Very difficult to get hold of anyone for information on passport application. August 2016

A tip - try phone in the afternoons and you have more chance of the phone being answered.
SA embassy - you should at least update your website with tel numbers that work. At least one of the numbers given does not exist.
The email address given goes unanswered. The service being provided is poor and we hope you take into consideration that not everyone lives in Paris and communication is important. Wishing you success in making these easy improvements.

Wrong and/or inoperable phone numbers on their website. Impossible to reach anyone after weeks of trying by phone and email, to enquire about passport application sent months ago. How is anyone supposed to access their services if not living in Paris itself ?!?

First call : directly put on hold
2nd call : directly hang up
3rd and following calls : directly switched to answering machine without any chance of leaving a message
Precision : all these calls where made during their working hours

Thank you to the consulate of South Africa, Paris.
We'll never share your email with anyone else.
