An extraordinary reward for those reaching the very top of the fort. First, a medieval garden which is delightful, then higher up, the views are amazing. Warning. This is not for the feint hearted. Uneven and rocky steps and a lot of them too, but worth it. If you have time, take lunch in the Saint Yves restaurant. Good, hearty home cooking, and huge portions. Wine and beer are also excellent.

Une veritable petite ville sous-terre avec tout ce qu'il faut. A l'interieur la température est fraîche même en été. Il est recommandé d'être bien chaussé.

Pour les amateurs d'histoire ou simplement pour les curieux, le fort de Saint Agnès vaut vraiment le détour.
Visite passionnante à l'intérieur de ce fort souterrain où l'on s'imprégne aussi bien de la vie de nos anciens à l'époque que de l'ingéniosité militaire.
Pensez à vous couvrir, il y fait frais et humide
