This place is huge, though the actual gardens are somewhat smaller than the park itself. You can spend hours upon hours simply wandering around here (which is what I eventually did). Even then you simply cannot appreciate the scale of this place.

It's easy to forget time here. You could easily spend the day here and still want to come back to see more. You probably won't be able to tour the castle and see the park in one day, but it's definitely worth two days.
The floating waterfall is amazing and I recommend renting a boat to sail on the pond.

Honestly not worth the trip in my opinion. It's always flooded with tourists and the amount of bodies ruins the beauty of the residence.

Such a beautiful place! It's a bit outside Paris, hence plan ahead for the one-hour train ride. The palace is ridiculously luxurious, and it's probably the most impressive palace after Buckingham, in my mind at least. Make sure you bring some food, because the food selection is rather limited and pricey. Wear comfortable shoes, the gardens are enormous! If you come here for special events, make sure you get the schedule right!

The garden is worth the visit. The palace is magnificent, but be prepared for lots people and not a lot of room to move.
As you're working through the gardens, check out the restaurant under the trees for a delightful meal and a setting that cannot be beat.

Incredible place with a lot of different things to see, gardens were the highlight for me apart from being a little bare in winter. Also for security reasons only one entrance with scans so be prepared to wait upto 2 hours in line. Best to get there early morning

A great value for money day out. Lots to see inside and an immense amount to explore outside. The passport ticket is only €18 and will easily allow you to fill hours and hours.
During the summer months get tickets in advance if possible and arrive early as the queues are very long.

Arguably the best garden in the world. So so beautiful unfortunately I couldnt see all. Have to see it my friends camera. It needs a day to visit the entire garden. So plan accordingly. Trust me it will be an unforgettable experience..

This place is awesome. You need at least 2 hours to see and enjoy everything. Better to rent a golf cart if you want to explore the whole place. If I have to choose, I will do this over the Chateau:). I think it's better come in springtime.

Vast gardens which you can explore all day! If you're not a fan of walking at a leisurely pace, you can always rent a bicycle or golf cart which makes the trip a lot quicker.

This place is insanely vast. The size of it is mind bogglingly impressive. Places to eat hidden around. Lots of fountains and Statues to wonder at. They really gilded the lily with this "garden".
