Beware the smell! While the Gite as a whole is not bad, the en suite room upstairs suffers from two major problems. First the awful smell of the drains from the sink unit, all the time. We were told that this cannot be solved because it is a general problem in Arras, but the the downstairs sink units are not like this. Second, the room is right next to the Gite owner's office so when they turn up for work at 8.30 your sleep and opportunity for, ahem, intimacy is over. There are other little signs of inattentiveness to holiday makers' needs: the knives are blunt, and no knife sharpener; the downstairs toilet leaks water; the seat cushions and bed mattresses are getting tired; the electric scales don't work because the battery needs replacing. Oh, and bring mosquito repellent...

Nice and cozy place with a lot of space and mostly quiet. We were there in the winter, but it must be nice to eat outside in the patio during summer. It is a nice typical house, equipped with everything you need to spend a great holiday in the lovely city of Arras.

Gîte très confortable et jolie décoration faite avec beaucoup de goût. Le quartier est calme et tout reste accessible à pied. Les propriétaires sont sympas et à l'écoute. Je recommande !
