The room look a little dirty and the toilet "yikes" . And let's not talk about dust! They need to improve their cleaning. The sheets look white and clean.

The hotel was good except I requested an ocean front room and got a view of a mobile home. Their restaurant was a huge disappointment . It is run by 2 guys (hotel and restaurant) and at their recommendation we dined at their restaurant. I ordered fettuccine with Gorgonzola and chocolate. I asked the gentleman about the chocolate and he said forget nutella it is not like that it is an accent of bitter chocolate. At his recommendation I ordered the food. My spouse ordered a steak medium rare. The steak came out well done and tough. My pasta was so chocolate it was not even edible. I informed the gentleman and his answer was Madam it is what you ordered. Yes I ordered it but it was terrible and not what he described. After he argued with me he wanted me to order more food. I chose to just skip dinner. As for the steak he did not offer to rectify that either. He did not even offer to modify the bill so we paid 62 euro for food we did not eat. The restaurant across the street had much better food as yes it did cost more but for the service and food quality I would gladly pay the additional 15 euro for 2 dinners.

Stayed here for the past 6 or 7 years. Ideal for my father aged nearly 94. Basic rooms but ideal for what we need. The only problem we had was reaching up into the cupboard for cups etc, not ideal for a short person or anyone with disabilities, far to high, otherwise an excellent place to stay. The restaurant over the road, part of the Hotel, Italian is excellent food and excellent value. Keep up the good work Vito and Marco.

Newer property but poorly maintained. No soap provided to was dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Fairly good location.

When we got there around 6:30pm, there was no one in the reception. You have to call to the restsurant the from the reception phone and they come from the restautant to check you in or assist you with other things.

Breakfast it's ok, it's made daily from one of the guys. The restaurant it's ok too.

Nice cozy accommodations perfect for visitors to the Normandy area. Rooms consist of a living area with kitchen and a larger bed. Loft with three smaller bed is nice and clean. Very cold at night on the lower living area. Staff is nice and fluent in English, and are extremely helpful throughout the visit. Breakfast was good as well.

The door are not completely seal, you can hear everything comming from the hallway. And the door won't shut quietly. So you can hear your neighbors slamming doors.

Amazing stay. Traveled with a group of about 60, and the two guys that run the place made endless accommodations for us. Amazing stay for a group, or for backpackers, as this place is not fancy, but a bed to rest in, but with a very friendly staff. A minutes walk away from the beach. The resteraunte is nothing overly special, but again, they made accommodations, and were very happy to do so to ensure the best stay for our group. Very friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone as long as you aren't expecting fancy.

The rooms are large and breakfast was good but there was much to choose from. There were three different cheese pies though. There wasn't much around either except for the hotel restaurant.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Gold Beach Hotel. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and each time we past reception they acknowledged us. The hotel is in a great spot, large car park. We stayed in a superior room for 4 nights. The living area was compact, but absolutely fine. The kitchen area was great, everything you needed for a few nights. Separate bedroom upstairs, lots of wardrobe space. We would definitely return.

Sweet friendly place! We spent there a week during Christmas time and loved it, so we came back again to see how Normandy changes in summer... Not only the rooms are clean comfy and big, very warm in the winter, cool in summer, but the owner and all the crew are very kind and polite, willing to help and to give tips to enjoy Normandy. Great!

Wifi is very poor.
