The hostel is located right beneath the ski tracks, and has a splendid view on the mountains. The reception as that kind of English club feel, and the food and drinks are top level. The room was really clean and nice, with bath and coffee machine. The service is very friendly and professional. The hostel has a pool, a sauna and a massage room for one to décontract after one day skiing.

First, the stunning property is located just 10 steps away from the lift!!! High season, powder, no lines. Need I say more?!? You could nearly touch the lift from my gorgeous duplex balcony...

And I cannot say enough about the staff!! They take pride in the beauty around them and make you feel entirely welcome, at home and pampered! :) :) :)

If that isn't enough...then add in beautiful, subtle, understated French charm in warm spacious "design hotel" rooms... This property is family owned and run and has the fingerprints of a passionate artist who hand-crafted every detail of this property with love, exquisite beauty and warmth. Meticulous in its design, form, comfort and balance, this resort has an absolutely gorgeous and glowing energy!!

Thanks so much for an incredible introduction to the Alps...I cannot wait to come back!

If you are into cycling or winter sports then this is a great hotel. Situated at the top of the epic Tour de France climb and right next to a cable lift it's in an ideal location. Staff are friendly and speak good English. The food in the hotel is of good quality and uses locally sourced produce. Epic views of the alps and we found the room to be a good size and well appointed

Great location and facilities were really good. Rooms had comfortable beds and everything we needed. Great to have bike storage, indoor pool, sauna and gym. Was particularly useful for us to have a noon checkout as it allowed a cycle ride in the morning and a shower before leaving. We ate in the restaurant one evening and food was pretty good. We would stay there again if we went back to Alpe D'Huez.
My only change would be for fresh milk at breakfast, for cereals, instead of what I guess was UHT milk - but that is common in France and not a major issue.

It was Perfect. From the warmth on check-in...being shown the storage area for my bike; gym; spa etc to the warmth on check-out...It was Perfect. Facilities and Location were just what I needed when cycling Alpe d'Huez...My Many Thanks :)

Very comfortable hotel. A couple of downsides - the buffet area at breakfast is very crowded and badly laid out. Having said that the food is delicious. And the ski boot heater in the boot room doesn't seem to work which means that you have to put on damp boots in the mornings. However, all in all a lovely stay. Thank you.

Oh, and superb wine & champagne selections and a gourmet "Breakfast for champions"!!!

Top class, through and through.

I understand it's always snowing at this altitude atop Alpe d'Huez...what a glorious wonder of the world! I thought I had seen it all (being Canadian and learning to ski at Whistler in British Columbia, I have been amply spoiled!) but this place is a wonder of its own...
