I have eaten here on 5-6 occasions during the last 5-6 years when going to Calais. Food always very good/excellent and reasonable value.

We popped in for an early evening dinner before catching a eurostar to London. food and atmosphere excellent. Will Make an evening if it next time. One of the best meals we have eaten in France.

A couple of years ago the service wasn't always what I'd call friendly that problem has been addressed and the service is now as good and enjoyable as the food!!

Why do I keep going back? Every meal I have eaten there was a memorable one ... always delightful.

In addition, when talking with local business owners and remarking on where we have plans to eat while in Calais, EVERYONE seems to have something good to say about it!!

Very nice small restaurant, helpful staff, food is excellent, I would say some of the best I have eaten in France
Do book as it is very popular with the locals

This restaurant tries hard to deliver a stylish ambience and first class cooking. As a perfectionist I would say that it comes close on both counts but doesn't quite hit the spot, although the service team were great fun, we had a very enjoyable time of it and the bill was reasonable. 8/10.
