Clean room, friendly staff at reception and around hotel. Nice location. Close to the old town, beach and shopping. Quiet neighborhood

This post is quite belated as I had lost some paperwork with names of staff at hotel on it. In July, I had enjoyed a four day break with my two sisters in Nice. We got to airport on Saturday 8th July (evening) for our EasyJet flight home. We were told our flight had been cancelled and various reasons were given and, to our dismay, we were informed that the next flight back to Liverpool was Wednesday 12th July. After being at airport 3 to 4 hours, of which there was chaos with all passengers trying to get home, which is a long story, we had to accept that we were not going home until the following Wednesday and EasyJet were putting us up in hotels for the next four nights. This may seem wonderful to some people reading this but it totally messes up your plans at home and your work as a lot of phone calls had to be made (especially regarding work) as you knew you were letting people down. Now I will get to the review. We were allocated The Holiday Inn. From the arrival to the departure we were treated so well by all the staff. The names I would like to mention are - Silvia, Sophia and Ivan. They were absolutely wonderful. They understood the plight we had been put in and made our stay like home from home and I can't thank them enough. The hotel itself is clean, well equipped and with a good variety of food. It is also ideally situated for everything in the heart of Nice. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. A big thank you to Silvia
