We stayed here while visiting castles and hiking in the eastern Pyrenees in October 2009. It is a charming place with nice accommodations and gracious hosts who were very patient with our halting French. We loved it. The meals were outstanding, including a heavenly cheese platter.

We have a small camping in the pyrenee mountains (tamtamlodge) and we advise our clients
many nice things to do in the surrounding area like little rivers, castles etc. We also advice them
to have lunch in le Grand Duc (with the delicious ice !!) or, when it's possible, to have dinner at the Grand Duc. 100 % score of satisfaction, all the clients came back with a big big smile.
Besides the place is beautifull as the owners and personel. !!

Accueil et service hors pair. Une cave impressionnante et une cuisine exceptionnelle. Le must, repas en terrasse à côté du bassin sous les grands arbres du jardin le tout à un tarif raisonné. Je recommande et j y retourne très vite !
