Breakfast normally consisted of juice and coffee ( as much as you wished ), a croissant and a roll. There were also spare croissants and rolls in a basket and lots of fruit. There were preserves of all types and different cheeses. There was no meat, which I thought was good. I always thinks it looks ugly to have meat lying around at breakfast.

Decoració retro molt agradable.
Edifici antic, però molt acollidor.
Ideal per passar un o dos dies si estàs de pas per la ciutat.
Econòmic i molt cèntric.

Perfect location in the city center and in front office the train station. The rooms are clean and confortable. The staff is very kind and the hôtel offers à very good breakfast.

The Hotel is in the large pedestrianised area of Orléans, so at night there was almost no noise whatsoever. I opened the windows in the daytime and I could hear the two waterfalls which cascade in front of the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel in the best possible position in Orléans. From the station you don't cross any roads to reach it. You go through the shopping centre towards the Post Office and it is directly next door to MacDonald's. I would say a five minute walk at most from station to hotel.

Very well localised (strict centre), with warm atmosphere (the manager is a great person) and original decoration (the typewriter in room no. 11 simply made my day) - simply wonderful!

For its excellent position, customer-service, friendliness and amenities I have no doubt that the Hotel Archange deserves 5 stars.

I stayed three nights in this hotel in mid-December.

The shower was large, with doors (not curtains). It was high-pressure and quickly controllable as to temperature. I hate those fiddly taps one sometimes gets; this one was perfect. There was a hair-dryer, that I did not use, and a towel-dryer/mirror de-mister.

The Hotel is also very close to the centre of Orléans, the Place de Martroi. That is about a 5-minute walk, but I bought a Tram ticket every day I was there, a one-day ticket was €3.90 and I used it a lot.

And if you do go, there probably isn't a better value Hotel in the area than Hotel Archange.

The owner of Hotel Archange speaks better English than me! He is a wonderful host who develops sympathy his customers. He is assisted by two or three members of staff. They are all excellent.

My room had a very efficient radiator which was easy to turn on and off.

If you have seen Paris then Orléans is the next best city. The pedestrianisation has been a total success. Don't be afraid to try the superb public transport! SEE the Cathedral, which is superb!

I should point out that Hotel Archange has four floors but NO LIFT. Also, check-in is normally after 16:30 (4.30pm) and not after 19:00 (7pm), but I believe you can telephone the hotel to arrange an earlier or later check-in.

I was on my own but the bed was a double. There was a decent-sized desk, big enough for a large laptop, mouse and mat and writing paper. There were 4 power-outlets (plugs). The TV was large-screen and high-definition, and had roughly 50 channels.

The room was really beautifully decorated, inspirations from Dali et Gaudi. The owner was welcoming. The place is a little bit noisy at night, some drunk people shouting. The breakfast was so so.

For many people it would be fantastic that the McD's is RIGHT next door.
