Charming old hotel, friendly staff. Good breakfast!
No AC and the door to the toilet wouldn't close properly, but as long as you don't have anything to hide from you roomie that works fine :P

Während unseres Besuches in Beaune haben wir im Hotel Athanor übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Die zentrale Lage dieses Hotels ist einfach genial für einen Besuch von Beaune.
Dieses alte Gebäude hat einen ganz besonderen Flair. Die Zimmer (mit Bad und WC) waren sehr sauber und gut, der Service ließ nichts vermissen, das Frühstück gut.
Fazit: Wir kommen wieder, und daher: entscheiden Sie sich besser für ein andres Hotel, damit dieses Hotel Athanor nicht ständig ausgebucht ist.

Very nice hotel in very good location. Friendly staff. Rooms are light, and in natural atmosphere.
Lors de notre visite à Beaune, nous avons séjourné à l'Hôtel Athanor et ils étaient très heureux. L'emplacement central de cet hôtel est tout simplement génial pour une visite de Beaune.
Ce vieux bâtiment a un charme tout particulier. La chambre (avec salle de bain) étaient très propres et bon, le service était rien ne manque, le petit déjeuner est bon.
Conclusion: Nous revenons, donc: vous décidez de mieux pour un hôtel d'autre, alors cet hôtel n'est pas complet en permanence.

Central hotel in Beaune. You can walk the entire city. Most wine tours will pick you up from here as well. The rooms are simple but nice. Plus there is a bae with pool!

Ok for overnight but not great for a longer stay rooms rather tired and hot no A.C. in the hotel. Breakfast OK but had better.
During our visit to Beaune we stayed at the Hotel Athanor and we were very pleased. The central location of this hotel is just great for a visit to Beaune.
This old building has a very special flair. The room (with bathroom and loo) were very clean and good, the service was nothing missing, the breakfast good.
Conclusion: We will come back, and therefore: you better may decide for another hotel to ensure, that this hotel is not constantly fully booked.
