The welcome on arrival was warm and we were shown all around on the way to our room. The hotel building and the annex we were in (a few steps away) are both beautiful old buildings (a former school judging by the decor). They appear to have been decorated very recently as everything is en vogue and pristine (clearly cared for). Departure was a little more brusque and business-like, but I think he was just busy - certainly not rude or anything.

Excellent, staff were wonderful and right in the center of town. Nice courtyard where you could enjoy a glass of wine! - Canada

Stayed two nights as part of our Inntravel walking tour. Hotel is nicely remodeled. Our room was nice with a small patio and very nice bathroom. The terrace is a quiet sunny place for an afternoon glass of wine. Breakfast was very good. Rick Steves rates it as a 3 star hotel at a two star price.

There's a small lounge/seating area with a TV and space to sit in the small, pretty courtyard also. We didn't get to try breakfast sad to say as I was not well, but it smelt and looked good.

Whatever negatives the lady below said in French are mostly untrue.

Very friendly owner. Cute rooms with character. Enjoyed our stay.

Location is oustanding. Right in the centre - step out on to pedestrianised street - bars, restauants on the doorstep, chateau a few paces away.

Lovely room. Amazing shower: like an amazonian rainstorm.

Like many I suspect, this was a stopover on the way up from the south-west. What a gem! We had the cheapest attic room. As you'd expect it's not huge and has limited headspace on one side of the bed, but it's clean, has a bit of character and had a great shower room (modern/clean/good shower). Free wifi - sufficient for researching places to see, routes etc.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au sein de l'hôtel qui est très bien situé à deux pas du château et en plein milieu de la ville. L'hôtel est très confortable et l'accueil est parfait.
Je vous recommande cet établissement vraiment très agréable

Highly recommended. Suggest trying the Relais du Chateau for casual dining also. Reviewed separately.

Parking is on the main square about 50m away. Don't park there on a Friday night however as market day on Saturday. There are other parking spots around and about not far away also.
