Located one street below Rue de Rivoli and next to Rue Bertin Poirée, this hotel is quaint and cozy. Many say that the rooms are on the smaller side, but with a hotel located at an 8 minute walk from the Louvre and in the middle of Paris, this is to be expected. The people were very friendly during our stay and speak English fairly well. The metro entrance to Chatelet-Les Halles is also conveniently located just a few steps away from the front door.

The rooms were small, but adequate. The hotel staff was very friendly, save one very rude gentleman who was unfortunately there both when I checked in and out. The major problem was the bathroom; the shower was so small that I couldn't even bend down, and the toilet was so close to the shower I kept bumping my knees. Overall, I think I might stay here again just based on the location. It is only a few blocks from the Louvre and Notre Dame so it is an absolute steal for the location.

Great location. Highlights like Louvre, Notre Dame, Seine and Centre George Pompidou at walking distance. Metro Chatalet really close (especially line 9). Supermarket is next door and a very nice bakery at the end of the street.
Rooms are basic. Bathroom could be more clean though and smelled a bit strange. The shower isn't made for tall people. WiFi was good at first floor.
There's always an employee at the desk. Service was friendly and good. See you next time.

Superb location. All the basic facilities available. Smallish rooms but honestly you don't need a central location hotel in a big city just to sit inside the hotel. It's perfect for people like us who just want a super accessible place for overnight crashing.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. While there is an elevator, it's very small and I preferred taking the stairs. However, the stairs are also quite narrow and winding so you have to take them carefully. The hotel is technically open 24 hours but they lock the exterior door at night so you have to ring or knock to get in. There's no air conditioning so you'll need to keep the windows open in the summer. However, this means that you'll get the noises from the busy nearby streets. Overall, it's an economical place to stay with friendly staff but be prepared for no A/C, street noises, and a narrow winding staircase.

This is one of hotel you want to avoid if you want good memory of Paris. Worst smell in the bathroom and in the room.
