My parents stayed just one night while travelling to Dijon from Spain and their experience was not good at all. The receptionists (the guy is nicer than the girl) couldn't speak a work of English and even in French she couldn't use the formal register...( my mom understands some French) the breaksfast was too expensive 8,5€ And they don't serve anything but coffee, tea and some pastries!! And the wifi wasn't working and coffee machine either... btw can't review without giving them a star, don't want to though.

N ayant pas trouvé de chambre de libre sur Bordeaux pour couper notre trajet de 1100 kms nous avons été dirigés vers l hôtel Gardenia .Pour des raisons matérielles nous avions l habitude d hébergement peu coûteux. Nous avons été agréablement surpris de trouver une chambre vaste très agréable et fonctionnelle et une salle d'eau très pratique et bien tenue .L hotel est idéalement situé et très silencieux.
Rapport qualité/ prix exceptionnel.A recommander sans hésitation. 9,5/10

A very unpleasant experience. The room we slept was dirty, crumbs and stains from old meals were visible all over the room table. Second (child's) bed had no sheets, only a light cloak. Breakfast was very, very poor: there was no cheese, ham or butter available; only prepacked jams and Nutella. Mugs and cups, forks and knifes were hand-washed so they could be re-used by later guests.
As a positive point, I must say the hotel is very close to motorway A89 and has a decent parking lot.
