Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good value with free WiFi and a computer for Internet, and free ice cream and hot drinks too. Good continental breakfast selection. Rooms spacious, but even though there were 5 lights, a bit gloomy as they are all low down and​ not adjustable.

Nice hotel very close to downtown. Rooms are small but cosy. Standard french-style breakfast. Open 24h.

The hotel is charming, old but kept nice and clean. The staff were helpful, even if you have issue your own the staff member will try to help you professionally.

The hotel I call home because that's how we felt when we come in from outside. They give you greeting and smile . If you don't speak french they will help you get what you want. They are that much, they all speak english well.

The breakfast is good all local food and fresh fruit and juice. There is plenty for for everyone. The aroma of the room when you come in so nice and warm. I had to ask the staff what they are using ,the told me it's jasmine !. no wonder it felt so pure.

Cons: breakfast is strictly continental (bread with ham&cheese). AC is old and not working. Not recommended if you have small kids like we had with us in the summer. It gets hot.

Great location, helpful and lovely staff, clean and tidy room. However the room wasn't soundproof, could hear almost everything from next room. Also the double bed was actually two singles put together (potentially a twin turned double), not comfy at all. Would visit again if the above issues are properly addressed.Poor WiFi network, slower than 3G and connection was spotty by the way.

I really want give this sit as 5 star if it not happen as tonight misleading . Once my son in the shower I hearing crazy noise from ppl nocked door, first of all I am thinking will be my neighbor then find it is happened to me. Hearing lot of terrible things in Europe, I am so scared , but answered who is it? Out of door was an old woman blablabla in French, I said no French then the lady said I can not sleep! What the f, u can not sleep and u crazy nocked my door. No I am not open, same time I call front desks asking help, the clerk very well she come to 3 floor then call me said no body, it is quiet as well. Then I take shower. Just as I am finishing the shower the ring again, it is 11:15 pm, it is a man , who said he is front desk and ask me comedown. He was speaking as commander and said : u should come to explain what's happening! Oh ! The thing goes tricky and treat!
I should do something except like let crazy ppl drive u crazy. Me and my son go down and talk to clerk, he did not let finish word and said : u should made noise lower? What, am I hearing wrong! I am take shower my son write his journey we even not turn on tv, it is made me very upset. What a crazy woman cuz she can not sleep ( million ways can cuz the ppl not following sleep, no matter what), the final I use peacefully way tell the clerk: if any one complain the third floor noise, it is not come from me, and if the woman can not fallowing sleep, take the pill, it can make u sleep, if u what more, it even can kill an cow! Done.
Btw, room was such great old classic and high ceiling, but small pcs miss management as door knob lost screw, the table lamp did not work. Other wise most front desk ppl was such warmly and welcome. Except the young man. Feel so sorry about the good location good building as well

Great staff, romantic decor in room and bright bathroom with sizeable tub for relaxing. 24/7 tea and coffee in the lobby is great.
However, I expect a little more from a place that can charge €110/night
Cons - the shower head kept moving and spraying water outside the tub. Broken bin lid in bathroom.
Poor sound isolation from neighbouring rooms

Good location, friendly staff. We loved our nights in this hotel.
I definitely recommend this place!

The hotel Le Grimaldi is in the middle of city, minutes by foot from almost anywhere. We walked through out the city to the sea front , enjoying the parks and plazas greatly appreciated. Then there was Promenade des Anglaise. Beautifulllllllll.
