So in general it was an expensive stay for very poor quality.

After a day on a bike we were pleased to be nearing our destination. When we asked directions the hotel was refered to as 'the other place'.

Breakfast was served in a different room - the worst of the lot. The tables were littered with dirty glasses as if someone had finished a party there the evening before. There were lots of flies and the general feeling was of neglect.

Degelijk restaurant maar er zijn zeker betere

I opened the door and the first thing I saw was a dirty, crumb-ridden lounge area. The hotel was part of a shop/bar/restaurant that had been built from a number of houses "knocked-through". The bathroom was clean because it was a new add-on module but the rest of the room was dusty and the floor was covered with dust balls. The restaurant was ok but the food bad. I was lucky as I had chosen Cassoulet but the rest of the family were served miss-cooked oven chips and inedible steak.
