I totally agree with the previous reviewer - customer service is simply not a priority - in fact, it is non-existent. They don't bother to return calls, respond to emails or faxes. I have had to constantly chase them up to renew our bank cards which expired at the end of June (they eventually arrived at the bank at the end of July, not sent to our address as promised) but have still not received the codes to permit us to use them; it is the 18th August. We have decided to move our accounts elsewhere.

I can only wait to change my bank...

I would advise anyone considering opening an account here to go elsewhere. HSBC Aix-en-Provence does not offer an acceptable service. This is definitely true for anglophone customers - and probably true for francophone ones. I have been lied to, I have had to continuously chase up on critical personal and business issues that should normally take a few days, but with HSBC they take weeks to months. If you wish to waste your life chasing up your bank - HSBC is the bank for you. If my situation does not change within the next month I will have to look for another bank. (Dated 12/04/10), if it does I will post a new review.
New review 30/6/10: Nothing has changed if anything the service has become worse. I am going to move my accounts.

I agree with you. I have chosen my bank. Now it is BNP PARIBAS. GREAT SERVICE. Very attentive to they customers. I advice to any one.

Couldn't agree more. Service is a disgrace. We ended up transferring 99% of our cash to another bank ... and HSBC management didn't even bother to call us to ask why!

This agency is a total disgrace.

Nobody is answering, nobody cares about services, and they keep pumping your money for services you requested to be removed long time ago.
We'll never share your email with anyone else.
